Excelsior Primary School is an Independent Public School located in the suburb of Canning Vale, educating from Kindergarten to Year 6. 

Excelsior is part of the South Metropolitan Education Region and is a high achieving school catering for the needs and aspirations of students and families in the Canning Vale community. Our student population includes families from a variety of nationalities and cultures which contributes to a rich and culturally diverse school environment.

The school opened in 2005 and is a welcoming school in a unique setting with plenty of grass and open space, along with several playgrounds, basketball/tennis courts, a large oval, specialist teaching classrooms, library, enclosed undercover area and five open plan teaching blocks with classrooms and central activity areas.

Our merit selected teachers have made considerable progress in understanding and applying the Learning Area strategies and content, General Capabilities and Cross Curriculum Priorities from the Western Australian Curriculum into the teaching and learning programs for all students.
